The Viz Ticker System Tool upgrade command supports Viz Ticker System version 2.4 or later. For older versions, Viz Ticker Wizard must be used for upgrading, see Upgrading the Existing Viz Ticker Configuration.

Upgrade

The upgrade command upgrades the current Viz Ticker System on the given Media Sequencer to the latest (or specified target) standard version.

Note: This command upgrades the Viz Ticker System to the latest version if no target is specified.

  • Required:

    • mse_host: The Media Sequencer host on which to perform the upgrade.

  • Options:

    • -t, --target=VALUE: The target Viz Ticker System version to upgrade to.

    • -a, --maturity=VALUE: The maturity of the Viz Ticker System version to upgrade to. Default is empty (release maturity).

Example: D:\TickerSystemTool.exe upgrade localhost -t v3.0
