Can licenses be updated during run-time?
When the ticket activation process starts, any license verification calls of Vizrt software are temporarily blocked. This means that the current operation will run without interruptions against the former license status until the ticket activation process has been completed.
What should I do if my software container is corrupt?
If a software container is corrupt, or you accidentally installed two software containers on your computer, they can be removed via the command line:
Open a Windows Command Prompt in C:\Program Files (x86)\CodeMeter\Runtime\bin.
Execute the command cmu32.exe --delete-cmact-license --serial <ID of the container> to delete the container.
If the container already includes licenses, they get lost when the container is deleted.
To get the licenses again, please contact your regional first level support.
Please, mention the ID of the deleted container or the computer name from which the container was located.
Please, note that this command only works for the software containers. If a physical dongle is corrupt, it cannot be deleted.
