Moving from Timing Display to Smart Panel
Smart Panel covers everything the Timing Display did, and adds control surfaces the Timing Display never had: buttons that fire Viz Mosart commands, audio faders, live video, graphics lists, and the ability to output a whole panel as an NDI source. Rather than only timing, a single panel can now host both timing information for the studio floor and controls that operator needs.
Everything you built a Timing Display for has a direct equivalent:

Rebuilding your displays
Info: Existing Timing Display layouts are not converted automatically. A Timing Display layout is a flat list of timer fields, whilst a Smart Panel layout is a canvas of positioned items, so there is no meaningful automatic mapping between them. Saved Timing Display layouts are no longer read, the panels you want must be built once-only in Smart Panel.
In practice this takes a few minutes per display. To shorten it further, Smart Panel ships with a set of ready-made default panels that cover the usual Timing Display arrangements: pick one in the panel picker when you create a new panel, then adjust it rather than starting from an empty canvas.
Your audio countdown files do not need to be moved. Smart Panel reads them from the same media folder on the Mosart Web Apps host that the Timing Display used, so files already placed there remain available.
Note for Administrators
A TimingDisplay configuration section is still present on the Mosart Web Apps host, and its service endpoints remain in place. This is expected: Smart Panel uses them for panel layouts, images, audio countdown files and the media folder setting, along with the TriCaster credentials used for live video. Keep this configuration in place. Only the Timing Display web app itself has been removed.
