Antivirus

Vizrt does not recommend or test antivirus systems in combination with Vizrt products, as the use of such systems can potentially lead to performance losses. The decision for the use of antivirus software and thus the risk of impairments of the system is solely at the customer's own risk.

There are general best-practice solutions, these include setting the antivirus software to not scan the systems during operating hours and that the Vizrt components, as well as drives on which clips and data are stored, are excluded from their scans (as previously stated, these measures cannot be guaranteed).

Graphics Plugin integrates Vizrt’s graphics workflow into the Non-Linear Editing (NLE) workflow. Use your normal workflow with your preferred NLE system, while adding real-time rendered Vizrt graphics.

Plugins are included for a variety of NLE systems:

  • Adobe Premiere Pro

  • Avid Media Composer

  • Grass Valley Edius

Although Graphics Plugin versions are tailored to specific platforms, the overall setup and user interface is the same.

Note: Viz Trio, Viz Pilot Edge, Viz Pilot, and the Graphics Plugin Editor all let the NLE user interact with the Vizrt graphics workflow and edit graphics elements. Graphics Plugin supports NLE systems on both Windows and Apple platforms. Viz Trio, Viz Pilot Edge and Viz Pilot are available for Windows-based NLE Systems. Viz Pilot Edge and the Graphics Plugin Editor are also available for Mac-based NLE Systems.
