Matrox X.mio5 / DSX LE 5
The Matrox X.mio5 video board is the next generation IP card supporting SMPTE ST 2110-20/30/40 protocols. It is equipped with quad 25GbE SFPs delivering an effective, fully redundant bandwidth of 50GbE, capable of providing four UHD inputs and outputs. As with previous models, the DSX LE 5 provides the same capabilities without DVE functionality.
Important: The final models of X.mio5 won't have a genlock connector. Cards must be sync'd to PTP.
Key Features
-
Native SMPTE ST 2110 support with no CPU usage.
-

-
Wide asynchronous receivers (Type A).
-
32x HD inputs and outputs over 25GbE.
-
256 audio flows from one to 64 tracks.
-
Multi-channel HDR conversion.
-

Matrox X.mio5 Known Limitations
The current Beta version of the driver for X.mio5 still lacks some features, which will be part of the final version of the driver.
-
Only two of the four SFPs are available, limiting the effective bandwidth to 25GbE.
-
No SMPTE ST 2022-7 support on the inputs.
-
No ancillary data support on the inputs.
-
PTP only available on SFP A, no Best-Master-Clock-Algorithm support. Card must be sync'd to PTP.
