Page Content Filling Aliases

Built-in aliases can typically be used in the Data Content Filling dialog and will outline their usage and function.

Page Content Filling Aliases

  • begin_date: Date property extracted from the begin_at attribute, which refers to the date that the primary event is scheduled for play out.

  • begin_time: Time property extracted from the begin_at attribute, which refers to the time that the primary event is scheduled for play out.

  • begin_date_formatted: It is a way of representing date and uses Present as options.

  • Present as: It has 4 options:

    • Date: The default setting for attribute begin_date_formatted. It uses Now, Next, Today, Tonight and Tomorrow states to define date. To represent a program which is scheduled for the days later, it symbolizes the date of corresponding playlist as: yyyy/mm/dd.

    • WeekDay: Uses Now, Next, Today, Tonight and Tomorrow states to define date. To represent program which is scheduled for the days later, it symbolizes the scheduled day of corresponding playlist as a number from 0 to 6, where 0 means Sunday, 1 means Monday and so on.

    • Relative Day: Uses Now, Next, Today, Tonight and Tomorrow states to define date. To represent program which is scheduled for the days later, it symbolizes total number of days from running playlist to selected playlist.

    • Absolute Date: Uses yyyy/mm/dd to represent date. And to represent a program which is scheduled for the days later it uses the same symbol: yyyy/mm/dd.

      • Now: Represents the program currently is playing.

      • Next: Represents the next program from currently selected program.

      • Today: Represents the program within the same playlist, where begin_time is less than 9 pm but doesn't indicate the program which is next from currently selected program.

      • Tonight: Represents the program within the same playlist, where begin_time is greater than 9 pm but doesn't indicate the program which is next from currently selected program.

      • Tomorrow: Represents the program from next day's playlist, which is scheduled to be played tomorrow.

To use begin_date_formatted for current event

Consider an example Continuous Playlist as in the image below:

For page "Lower third", set query to get begin_date_formatted from current primary event:

Press Set query and Save. See the result of the query "Now":

To using begin_date_formatted for next event

For page "Lower third", set query to get attribute begin_date_formatted from next primary event, which will get primary event with description "Air":

Press Set query and Save. See the result of the query "Next":

To use begin_date_formatted for event later tonight

For page "Lower third", set query to get attribute begin_date_formatted from next 2 primary event, which will get primary event with description "Rise":

To use begin_date_formatted for event tomorrow

For page "Lower third", set query to get attribute begin_date_formatted from first primary event in the next day, which will get primary event with description "Smile":

For the states of the program which is scheduled for the days later than tomorrow , it depends upon the “ Present as ” settings.
