Scheduling Configuration

A typical installation includes one or several Viz Channel Branding Client and a local Viz Engine, running in Scheduling Mode against a 'Large MSE'. Playlist Importer (PLI) are typically installed in order to collect and ingest schedule files into Viz Channel Branding.

This setup allows the Scheduling Center to prepare and preview playlists before sending them to playout by the Viz Engine(s).

The following software components are in use:

  • Viz Channel Branding Client

  • Viz Channel Brandings’s Playlist Importer (PLI) and Integrations Hub

  • Viz Engine (local preview core, per Client)

  • Media Sequencer, on a stand-alone machine if using more than one client.
