Upgrading

The Ticker System Tool upgrade command supports Ticker System 2.4, or later. For older versions, Ticker Wizard must be used for upgrading, see Upgrading the Existing Viz Ticker Configuration.

Upgrade

The upgrade command upgrades the current Ticker System on the given Media Sequencer to the latest (or specified target) standard version.

Note: This command upgrades the Ticker System to the latest version if no target is specified.

  • Required:

    • mse_host: The Media Sequencer host on which to perform the upgrade.

  • Options:

    • -t, --target=VALUE: The target Ticker System version to upgrade to.

    • -a, --maturity=VALUE: The maturity of the Ticker System version to upgrade to. Default is empty (release maturity).

      Example: D:\TickerSystemTool.exe upgrade localhost -t v3.0
